LectureLens turns a class into notes, a quiz and a tutor. Ask about a problem and it jumps the video to the moment the lecturer covered it, then helps you work it out. It guides. It never hands you the answer.

Every lecture becomes a timeline. Stars are moments you marked, question marks are things classmates asked. Tap one.

The tutor

Stuck? It shows you where to look.

Pick a problem. Watch the tutor point to the right minute and give a nudge, not the solution.

Simulated example. The real tutor reads your own lecture's transcript.

Choose a question on the left and I'll find where your lecturer covered it.

Built for

Three ways students use it

Record live and keep up

Capture the class as it happens, with live captions if you want them. Star a moment with one shortcut and move on. Notes are waiting when the class ends.

  • Records Zoom, Teams, Meet and school players on the desktop app
  • Mark the confusing bits as they go by

Upload the recording

Missed it, or your school posts lectures to a portal? Upload the file and get the same notes, quiz and tutor as if you had been there.

  • Common video and audio formats
  • Works on a tablet or phone for studying

Turn a term into a study set

Search every lecture at once, flip the cards, take the quiz, export to Anki or Word. Ask the tutor across the whole course and it points to the lecture and the minute.

  • Course-wide questions and study guide
  • Notes in another language when you need them

How it works

From class to confident in three steps

Bring the lecture

Record it live or upload a recording. Nothing to install on the web version.

Get the study set

A transcript, a summary, an outline, a quiz and flashcards, all tied to timestamps.

Ask, and be guided

The tutor jumps the video to the right moment and nudges you toward the answer.

Features

Everything around the lecture

🎯

Guided tutor

Hints and the right minute, never the final answer. It checks itself before it replies.

📝

Notes and quiz

Summary, outline, flashcards and a quiz built from what was actually said.

⭐

Moment marking

Star a minute while it plays. Jump straight back to it later.

🔎

Search every lecture

Find where a term came up across the whole course.

🌍

Translate notes

Study set in your own language, with the original kept alongside.

📤

Export anywhere

Word, PDF and Anki, so your notes aren't locked in.

Recording a class in the browser works on desktop Chrome and Edge, and captures a tab or window with its sound. Phones and iPads can study and upload, but can't share their screen to a website. Use the desktop app for Zoom or Teams windows.
